Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to residents in a home care setting
- Assist residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, cleaning, and personal hygiene
- Housekeeping and Laundry services provided
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and safe environment
- Support residents in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Document and report any changes in residents' behavior or health status
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of residents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct support is preferred
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
